I liked the interview very much I liked the way he is harping on the theme of love and loss and of course suicide and the way we are not scrounging on society which is my worry.

For the way people with mental illness is treated if very ill a nutcase but if half well a scrounger. No one gives us jobs because we are not reliable because if schizophrenic they just don't it is like doors are constantly shut in your face and I thought it was my fault but it is not it is the fault of society one murder one thing in the papers and it is as if one has to start all over again constantly saying I did not do that I am not capable of killing achild or whatever I don't go around stealing and what else can I say or do?
If it was not for the social I would starve. This interview brought all that up. When one suffers from mental illness one is so dependent on others like in Street car Named Desire one is constantly with strangers doctors and nurses constantly checking and rechecking because you are what you got.

Thank you very much for comment. I completely relate to what you're saying. As someone who was sectioned at a young age myself, a lot of my career oppertunities were brought to a halt because of a bit of paper that claimed I was mentally unwell.

The Chipmunky interviews will keep coming back to this and other topical themes in support of all the hard work Chipmunka and it's authors are putting in to tackle this stigma. As this page is viewable to anyone on the internet, it is easily available to any mental health reporters or professionals who would like accurate information.
